Provide archaeological support which may include archaeological surveys, testing, or excavations, and corresponding documentation. Adhere to strict safety standards.
EssentialRoles and Responsibilities:
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
- Entry level technician performing field, survey or laboratory analysis under the supervision of a Crew Chief or higher.
- Follow basic field or laboratory protocols outlined by more senior staff, such as archaeological fieldwork or artifact processing.
- Maintain assigned equipment.
- Provides clear documentation of findings or results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of archaeological resources.
- Have basic computer skills
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
