Part-time Hourly, Non-Exempt

ASM SAVOR Alamodome, Dishwasher. The Dishwasher maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes, and sorts soiled dishes and keeps the dish area free of clutter and organized. Ensures that the dish area is set up properly, including dish machine and sinks, in accordance with ASM’s applicable standards and procedures.

• Scrape and sort dishes before loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning
• Maintain dishwashing machine and report any mechanical faults to Executive Chef or Sous Chef
• Monitor dish machine water temperature during sanitized wash cycle and record temperature on log
• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items using dish machines or by hand
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas after they have air-dried
• Clean work areas including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking areas
• Ensure that all chemicals for dish machine and 3-compartment sink are kept filled
• Keep all kitchen wares storage areas clean and orderly
• Remove trash from kitchen and transport to dumpster and clean/sanitize all garbage cans
• Assist with accepting delivery items and storage of such items
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using carts
• Occasionally assist in kitchen prep
• Adhere to the ASM SAVOR dress code which includes wearing black pants and non‑slip soled closed‑toe shoes

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Food Handlers Permit required in accordance with the Lincoln‑Lancaster Health Department

• Ability to understand and follow direction
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to complete required pre‑employment food service training, if applicable
• Ability to work in a team
• Positive attitude and neat appearance
• English preferred as primary language, but not required
• Will be in contact with chemical cleaning agents
• Hazards include cuts from broken glass, metal cans, scalds and burns, slipping and tripping
• Frequently immerses hands in water; works frequently in a hot and damp environment

• Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves
• Frequently required to reach up to 6‑7 feet, twist at waist, bend and squat
• Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
