Full-Time Retail Sales Associate – Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate, nationwide

Salary: $12.95 to $15.95 per hour
. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate. We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assist with inquiries and problem resolution. The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Final pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; fosters a positive work environment.
• Works with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes required training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May assist customers on exterior areas (parking lots) or retrieve products stored elsewhere.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency; cash handling experience preferred.
• May work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
