Position: Licensed Call Center Sales Representative (CA & TX)

JOB SUMMARY

The Telephone Sales Representative CA and TX is responsible for handling telephone calls from internal and external customers. The representative must reside in TX or CA and have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for state of California or Texas. Must adapt to fast paced sales environment providing opportunities for inbound and outbound sales contact.

SCOPE

Supports Sears Home Services Service Contract internal and external customers through inbound/outbound interaction over phone. The representative will influence and assist members with obtaining Home Warranty coverage.

Mgr, Sales & Service

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be a Texas or California resident.
• Must have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for TX or CA.
• Connects with customer via telephone and services the customer's needs to sell Protection Agreements and positions additional services products using scripted sales presentation and call strategies.
• Applies communication and customer service skills to manage and resolve customer concerns.
• Delivers sales presentation with passion, commitment, courtesy, professionalism and in conformance to policy and procedure.
• Offers best value for customer in terms of price, discounts, multiple/additional products and maximum term and stresses.
• Features benefits of products and uses resources and skills to overcome objections.
• Corrects information on record when appropriate, and properly records agreements, sales processing, and recording.
• Maintains high level of business/product knowledge via onsite and online training.
• Works with management staff and team members to provide highest level of sales and service results to achieve individual and team goals.
• Complies with and adheres to ethical selling policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• License/certification in relevant field.
• 18 years of age or older.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must reside in TX or CA and have valid Producer license for TX or CA.
• Previous Home Warranty or Real Estate knowledge and/or experience critical.
• Ability to apply effective sales and service influencing skills based on call type being handled.
• Fundamental understanding of Home Warranty policies.
• Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills essential.
• Utilization basic mathematical functions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based programs.
• A team player able to work closely with Customers, Builders, and Sub-contractors in fast paced environment.
