Insurance Agent

We are looking for a motivated, bilingual Insurance Sales Agent / Account Representative to join our insurance brokerage team. This is a sales-focused position that also involves customer service, policy management, renewals, and ongoing client support. The ideal candidate has a background in insurance, is comfortable working with multiple insurance carriers, enjoys working with people, and has strong follow-up and sales skills.

• Generate new business through leads, referrals, networking, and proactive sales efforts.
• Quote and sell insurance policies based on each client's needs and budget.
• Work with multiple insurance carriers to compare coverage and find competitive rates.
• Follow up with leads and prospective clients to close sales.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Process new policies, endorsements, policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Follow up on outstanding policy payments and billing issues.
• Monitor upcoming renewals and proactively contact clients to retain business.
• Review existing policies and identify opportunities for additional coverage or better pricing.
• Communicate with clients and insurance carriers regarding policy questions, requirements, and changes.
• Maintain accurate client and policy records.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the life of each policy.
• Meet individual and office sales and fee-production goals.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Previous insurance experience required.
• Must have a Limited Lines insurance license or be willing/eligible to obtain one.
• Strong sales and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong follow-up and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers is preferred.

$15-$17/hour, depending on experience. Weekly commission opportunities based on fees generated. Generate $1,500 in fees - 10% commission Generate $2,500 in fees - 15% commission At our location, our current insurance sales team members average approximately $24/hour including commissions. Additional earning potential is available based on individual sales performance. Commission structure and eligibility are subject to company policies and applicable compensation terms.
