This role is both an armed and driving position. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, local law enforcement, and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to clients, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
