Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Guard – Medical Shelter Response in San Antonio, TX. The role is full‑time, and the expected work schedule is a variable shift covering day and evening hours.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the shelter environment to deter unauthorized access or disturbances.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security‑related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with location staff and local law enforcement as needed for incident response and resolution.
• Remain alert and prepared to address emergency situations and/or security‑related needs as they arise.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in military, law enforcement, or armed security.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton proficiency is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and required training programs.

$21.00 / Hour

Day Time – Mon 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM
