• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Interact with store employees and visitors in a professional manner, offering assistance as needed and reporting any concerns.
• Support emergency response activities, including coordinating with local law enforcement when required.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
