As a Patrol Armed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is an armed and driving post requiring a visible presence and timely response to situations as needed. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 07:00 AM – 03:15 PM;
Thur 07:00 AM – 03:15 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail environment.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving, using appropriate security protocols.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security concerns observed during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances and criminal activity within the premises.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and customers, providing assistance while upholding site‑specific standards.
• Carry and responsibly handle a company‑issued firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by site management.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
