As a Security Officer - Armed Warehouse Patrol in San Antonio, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security‑related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible throughout the premises, provide excellent customer service, and communicate with staff and visitors.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to assist customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement personnel as required.
• Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
• Follow all company protocols and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be a valid driver’s license holder in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
