As a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Retail Sector in San Antonio, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security‑related incidents while maintaining high visibility. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with the public and provide outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by performing security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail premises and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter potential issues and provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Carry out security‑related duties while armed, following all applicable regulations and company policies.

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess Level III armed certification for positions in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
