Make Ready TechnicianLocation: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (occasional weekends as needed)
About The Role
The ARC is seeking a skilled Make Ready Technician to prepare and maintain residential units, ensuring they are safe, clean, and move-in ready. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, values teamwork, and enjoys a hands-on role with a variety of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Complete all make-ready and vacant unit tasks on schedule.
- Rekey and replace locks as needed.
- Perform general plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, garbage disposals) and basic electrical work (switches, ceiling fans, outlets).
- Service appliances, flooring, window treatments, and finishes.
- Replace light bulbs and lighting components inside and outside the property.
- Complete maintenance service requests and work orders following company procedures.
- Conduct inspections to ensure units meet safety and appearance standards.
- Clean up work areas thoroughly after each job.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow all company safety and OSHA standards.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain professional appearance and wear company uniform while on duty.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (property maintenance, construction, or make-ready work).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.
