Security Service Technician About the Role

We are seeking a Security Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing commercial security systems for our customers. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently to resolve issues efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, service, program, and test enterprise security systems.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues with networked access control and IP video surveillance systems.

+ Work with customer networks to support integrated security solutions.

+ Service and maintain commercial intrusion alarm systems and other connected security technologies.

+ Perform system inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.

+ Provide exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with customers on-site.

+ Accurately document service work and system changes.

+ Work independently to identify problems and deliver effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

+ Experience troubleshooting and programming networked access control and IP video systems.

+ Working knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, internet connectivity, and customer networks.

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

+ Strong communication and customer service skills.

+ Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
