• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial food processing and packaging equipment.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with team members, sharing ideas and accepting feedback to enhance team performance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and assist colleagues as necessary.
• Think creatively to solve problems and improve processes.

• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical maintenance experience, including working with 480v systems.
• Mechanical maintenance proficiency, specifically with conveyors and ovens.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in motors, pumps, and conveyors.

• Instructor recommendation or reference.
• Experience with sensors, PLCs, and food equipment like ovens and labeling machines.
• Vocational training or trade school is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates straight out of vocational school considered.

Work in a food processing plant specializing in sausages, with very cold temperatures and wet floors in some areas. The facility adheres strictly to USDA standards. We offer two shifts: 1st shift from 5:30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and 2nd shift from 3pm to 12am. The environment requires compliance with safety standards and a readiness to work in a team-oriented setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
