Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Android Developer with strong experience in Kotlin to build high‑quality, scalable, and innovative Android applications. The candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain Android apps that deliver outstanding user experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications with backend services.
- Unit test code to ensure robustness including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
- Debug and fix issues, optimize performance, and improve application robustness.
- Stay up to date with the latest Android development technologies and trends.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Integrate third‑party libraries and APIs as appropriate.
- Ensure app compatibility and responsiveness across a wide range of Android devices and versions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Kotlin programming language and familiarity with Java.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third‑party libraries.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and responsive layouts.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of memory management, threading, and performance tuning on Android.
- Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
