Director of Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead engineering strategy, technical execution, engineering teams, and delivery across multiple products or technology areas. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with people leadership, architecture, delivery management, and business alignment.

• Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company objectives.
• Lead and mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers.
• Own engineering delivery, quality, scalability, reliability, and technical excellence.
• Establish engineering standards, development methodologies, and best practices.
• Drive architecture and technology decisions for large-scale systems.
• Partner with Product, Design, Security, Dev Ops, and Business teams.
• Establish KPIs for engineering productivity, quality, availability, and delivery.
• Manage technical debt and modernization initiatives.
• Build high-performing engineering teams through hiring, mentoring, and career development.
• Conduct architecture and technical design reviews.
• Manage engineering budgets, resources, priorities, and capacity planning.
• Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
• Promote automation, CI/CD, Dev Ops, observability, and cloud-native practices.

• 8 to 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership/management roles preferred.
• Strong background in software architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience managing multiple engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD, security, scalability, and observability.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
• Experience hiring and developing senior technical talent.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
