We are seeking an innovative Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the evolution of our testing ecosystem. In this role, you will go beyond traditional script maintenance to architect next-generation,
AI-driven testing frameworks using WebdriverIO (Type Script/JavaScript). The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in modern test automation frameworks, combined with a strong desire to grow technically, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement across our quality practices.

• Design, scale, maintain a robust end-to-end automation framework utilizing WebdriverIO (v8/v9) and Type Script suites for web, desktop, mobile applications and APIs.
• Implement AI-driven testing capabilities
  , including self-healing locator strategies, runtime selector repair, and intelligent fallback mechanisms within the WDIO pipeline.
• Write well-structured AI prompts to generate test cases, analyze logs, and review code using assistants like Codex or Copilot.
• Partner closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with the team to drive resolutions.
• Define and evangelize test automation strategy across the department, balancing short-term execution with long-term scalability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD integrations to support automated testing pipelines.
• Contribute to building a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive regression test suite that is automatically triggered upon code merge to the pre-production environment to ensure stability and functionality before release.
• Support performance testing for major feature deployments and assist with load testing preparation and execution during peak holiday periods to ensure application scalability and reliability under high traffic.
• Build and maintain fully automated live health checks and smoke tests to proactively monitor system health and validate production deployments before and after release.

• WebdriverIO Expertise: 3+ years of deep hands‑on experience with WebdriverIO, Page Object Model (POM), custom services, runners, and custom reporters.
• Modern Language Stack: Advanced proficiency in Type Script or Java Script (Node.js ecosystem), Page Object Model (POM) and BDD (Cucumber/WDIO framework)
• AI & Next-Gen Testing Tools: Demonstrated experience integrating AI plugins, intelligent test agents, or self-healing mechanisms into automation frameworks.
• API Testing: Strong experience automating REST/GraphQL APIs (e.g., using WDIO browser-runner or Axios).
• CI/CD & Infrastructure: GCP, Jenkins

• 5+ years of experience in a Software Developer in Test or Test Automation Engineer role.
• Solid programming experience (preferably in JavaScript/Type Script).
• Experience with UI and API test automation frameworks such as Web Driver, Playwright, or similar.
• Working knowledge of test strategy, test design, and test data management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into the build process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning and improving.
• Strong growth mindset you dont need to know every tool we use today, but you should have the ability and drive to quickly learn new technologies and approaches as needed.
• Experience in performance, load, or security testing is a plus!
