Role Overview We are seeking a senior SailPoint engineer for an 8-week project. The primary objective is to deliver a SailPoint ISC to Service Now Service Desk integration. This will enable approved access requests for disconnected applications to automatically generate actionable Service Now tickets, with ticket closure status syncing back to SailPoint. The role also involves leading the discovery and design for a SailPoint-to-iSeries integration and setting up one read-only iSeries source in a test environment.

This is a hands-on, client-facing engagement where you will be the sole senior technical resource, working with an in-house IAM team. Documentation and knowledge transfer are key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Review the existing tenant and SailPoint/Service Now configuration and document the MVP use case.

Produce the fulfilment target and field mapping specification, including target table, field mappings, assignment group, state model, and closure states.

Configure, unit test, and support UAT for ticket creation and status sync on the first disconnected application.

Promote changes to production through the client's change management process and provide hypercare support.

Design the SailPoint-to-iSeries integration and integrate one read-only source into the test environment.

Deliver a repeatable integration pattern, onboarding runbook, specification template, and troubleshooting guide.

Required Qualifications The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on SailPoint ISC / Identity Now implementation experience, covering source onboarding, identity profiles, transforms, roles, and access request workflows. Advanced, demonstrable expertise with the SailPoint Service Now Service Desk Integration Module is required, including fulfilment targets, payload-to-field mappings, assignment group routing, and state and closure mapping. The role also demands troubleshooting ability, experience with building fulfilment patterns for disconnected/flat-file applications, and comfort with formal change management processes.

Preferred Qualifications Sail Point  ISC Engineer certification.

IBM iSeries (AS/400) identity integration and aggregation experience.
