Start your deck officer career with OSM Croatia as a 4th Officer on a crude oil tanker trading in Europe. You will work with an experienced bridge and deck team, gain solid tanker experience, and build your future at sea.
Key responsibilities- Stand navigational watch under the supervision of senior officers
- Assist with safe navigation, passage planning and bridge routines
- Participate in cargo and ballast operations as directed
- Carry out routine deck inspections and safety rounds
- Valid Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) / 3rd Officer CoC or equivalent
- All valid STCW certificates and tanker familiarization (oil) as per rank
- Valid seaman's book, medical fitness certificate and travel documents
- Previous sea service on tankers preferred, cadet time on tankers an advantage
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and willingness to learn from senior officers
