Responsibilities- Travel and inspect installations as needed to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Inspect vehicles, machines, and equipment monthly to ensure they are in good working order.
- Oversee and perform warehouse cleanliness duties (sweeping floors, arranging dumpster pickup, parking lot upkeep).
- Affix inventory tags to inventory.
- Operate forklift, pull materials, make cuts, load and unload material.
- Take calls from Flooring Technicians, Sales Representatives, and Clients to handle installation challenges.
- Ensure installs are completed according to schedule.
- Process orders to prepare for sub‑contractors and/or Operations department.
- Maintain printing of inventory tags.
- Sell supplies to sub‑contractors.
- Load out to sub‑contractors.
- Maintain communication with sub‑contractors.
- Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Basic arithmetic skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Basic computer knowledge – Word processing and beginner to intermediate Excel.
- Maintain forklift certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Physical requirements:
stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds occasionally; meet vision abilities such as close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception.
10 am – 7 pm Monday through Friday; some Saturdays (7 am – 12 pm) depending on business needs.
