OverviewMr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately‑owned produce distributors in Texas. With deliveries 365‑days a year, 7‑days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.
SummaryMr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full‑case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet, plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to the shipping dock and, in some cases, load them onto a trailer to deliver to customers.
All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.
- Perform general physical activities: load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material‑handling equipment
- Perform tasks in multi‑temperature environments
- Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift
- Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside the warehouse
- Break down and restack merchandise from pallets
- Verify quantity of the products
- Ensure items are picked accurately and safely to prevent damage
- Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets
- Maintain a food‑safe environment
- Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be punctual
- Forklift / Rider Pallet Jack – 1 year experience
- Must pass a drug test
- Available to work on weekends
