Job Summary
The Soccer Factory is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our orders for custom soccer apparel and equipment are fulfilled accurately and on time, while maintaining organized inventory and strong communication with the sales team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping our warehouse running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of soccer apparel, uniforms, and gear.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock rotation for high-volume and custom products.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify commonly sold items running low, providing timely updates to the sales department to prevent stock shortages.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to anticipate order needs and communicate product availability.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, promoting a culture of accountability, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Implement and enforce safety, quality, and organizational standards throughout the warehouse.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and shipping partners to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce errors.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance metrics.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, preferably in retail, apparel, or sporting goods.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the sales team and other departments.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience in custom sports apparel, uniform production, or e-commerce fulfillment.
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management principles specific to athletic products.
- Proactive communication with sales to anticipate inventory needs and prevent stock shortages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
- Leadership and team-building capabilities in a high-volume warehouse environment.
