Position: Warehouse Runner (Temporary Full-Time)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Runner to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse Runner will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of parts across the warehouse, picking assemblies for work orders, and maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to handle various tasks as needed, including operating a forklift and maintaining an organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Movement: Efficiently move parts from one location to another across the warehouse floor.
  • Order Picking: Accurately pick assemblies to fulfill work orders.
  • Inventory Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift for material handling tasks.
  • General Tasks: Perform various odd tasks as needed, such as breaking down cardboard and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Computer Use: Utilize a mobile computer for inventory management and work order processing.
  • Organization: Maintain an organized workspace and manage time effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and workflow inefficiencies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred but not required).
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
