• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products with sound professional judgment.
• Provide tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and product/software inquiries.
• Maintain sensitive customer information responsibly and securely.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language.
• Interact with customers via state‑of‑the‑art video communications software.
• Document customer interactions and apply company practices to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Work toward key performance metrics and Big Bet Goals.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.

• Strong business tax preparation experience with 3+ years preparing federal and state business returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Availability for at least 20 hours per week across three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience (books‑to‑tax entrance) strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers strongly preferred.
• State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds, as required.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology and solid computer operation skills.
• Strong customer service skills – professional, friendly, and confident video/audio communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria.
• Reside in the United States.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position varies by location:
Bay Area, California: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
Southern California: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
Colorado: $29.60 – $34.10 per hour
Hawaii: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
Illinois: $29.60 – $34.10 per hour
Maryland: $29.60 – $34.10 per hour
Massachusetts: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
Minnesota: $26.60 – $33.80 per hour
New Jersey: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
New York: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
Ohio: $26.60 – $33.80 per hour
Vermont: $29.60 – $34.10 per hour
Washington: $31.10 – $35.50 per hour
Washington DC: $29.60 – $34.10 per hour
