Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family‑owned health‑care organization with over 27 years of experience. Our mission is to increase access to health‑care services for geriatric and underserved populations by bringing high‑quality, mobile care directly to them.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and facility‑based patients
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide low‑vision recommendations as needed
- Educate patients and/or facility staff on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active recently valid California Optometry license
- Experience in geriatric or mobile care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to facility‑based settings
- 2–4 visits per month
- Weekday ലക്ഷ availability preferred
- Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This position is an independent contractor role, enabling you to focus solely on patient care.
