RequirementsRequired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (required).
- Proven ability to manage raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Comfortable working both on the production floor and in warehouse environments.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Background in metals, aluminum, extrusion, or fabrication manufacturing.
- Experience conducting cycle counts and supporting inventory audits.
- Familiarity with barcoding and scanner-based inventory management systems.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting and possess hands‑on expertise using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to manage and execute inventory transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain precise inventory records for raw materials, work in process (WIP), and finished goods using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Execute inventory transactions in D365, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
- Support production operations by ensuring material availability and proper inventory location management.
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to maintain seamless inventory flow.
- Monitor and document material movement, lot control, and traceability requirements in compliance with company standards.
- Analyze inventory variances, identify root causes, and assist in developing corrective action plans.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory accuracy and process efficiency.
