OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA, is a 60‑bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and friendly environment where you get to know your patients and their families.
ResponsibilitiesProvides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.
Required Skills- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or equivalent relevant experience.
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment.
- BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor within six months of hire.
- Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

The wage range for this role is $17.80 to $21.71 per hour. Night shift differentials:
Weekday +$1.25/hr, Weekend +$2.50/hr.
