A Travel Nurse RN specializing in Endoscopy is needed for a contract position at a California hospital. The ideal candidate must have an active California license and two years of experience, particularly in moderate sedation and preferably ERCP. Flexible shift availability is required, along with skills to manage pre / post-op care in the GI unit.

• A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Ambulatory / GI nurse for a travel contract.
• The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.

• Hold an active CA License.
• 2 full years of experience required.

• Shifts : 8 hr shifts - 5 : 30am-2pm, 9-5 : 30pm, 10 : 30am-6pm, 11a-7p (must be flexible with shifts).
• Weekend Requirement :
  Every other weekend, could be more or less.
  
  Holidays : 24 hour call requirement.
• Call requirement : variable based on needs of unit.

• Required Duties : perform moderate sedation during the GI cases.
• Must Have Skills : 1 year experience with Moderate sedation is primary. ERCP experience is preferred but not mandated.

• ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2 / 12 or 2 / 26 Start Date ONLY.
• Unit :
  Amb / GI lab - this unit is a hybrid ambulatory care center.
• # beds : 5.
• Phase 1 and Phase 2 : GI nurses pre / post the moderate sedation patients.
• Common types of cases to recover : GI - upper and lower GI Peg tubes.
