• Perform moderate sedation during GI cases.
• Phase 1 and Phase 2: GI nurses pre/post the moderate sedation patients.
• Support ambulatory GI unit operations and patient care as part of the team.

• Active California license.
• 2+ years of experience in ambulatory/GI nursing or equivalent.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• 1 year of experience with moderate sedation is preferred; ERCP experience is preferred but not mandated.

• Shifts:
  
  8 hr shifts - 5:30am-2pm, 9-5:30pm, 10:30am-6pm, 11:00am-7:00pm (flexible).
• Weekend requirement:
  Every other weekend, could be more or less.
• Holidays: 24-hour call requirement.
• Call requirement: variable based on needs of unit.
• Start date:
  
  2/12 or 2/26; start date flexibility as indicated in job details.
• Unit:
  Amb/GI lab — hybrid ambulatory care center; 5 beds.

• Common types of cases to recover: GI - upper and lower GI; PEG tubes.
