• Oversee daily operations of the parts department
• Ensure parts are available, organized, and sold efficiently
• Communicate effectively about customer parts status
• Read and understand parts catalog for specific parts
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and other customer information
• Review body shop estimates to verify correctness of parts ordered and alignment with estimates
• Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks for accuracy
• Locate out‑of‑stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorizations

• Minimum 2 years experience as an automotive parts manager
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
• Strong interpersonal and time‑management skills
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Mathematical proficiency (calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
