Asset Protection & Safety Mgr

Asset Protection & Safety Manager – Lowe's Companies, Inc.

• Help the Store Operational Leadership team ensure associates deliver friendly, professional, timely service to all customers.
• Monitor receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for the assigned store.
• Champion initiatives and establish processes and controls that improve safety/hazmat, shrink, and security outcomes.
• Oversee and coordinate loss mitigation programs while maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Monitor and respond to criminal activities, violent altercations, and inventory shortfalls.
• Train and coach associates on safety procedures and store security.

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be needed for meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

• Hourly full time or part time schedule: generally 39–40 hours for full time, up to 25 hours for part time. Additional hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability in mornings, afternoons, evenings and any day of the week.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting and other required activities.
• Minimum ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift >25 pounds with or without assistance.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience (e.g., retail or asset protection).

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, Business, or related field.
• National certified training program (e.g., Wicklander‑Zuwalski, Reed).
• Professional accreditation (APQ, APC) or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience including coaching, mentoring, performance management.
• 2 years of manager experience in a retail environment; 1 year of conducting quality reviews/audits.
• Experience analyzing business documents (e.g., P&L, exception reports).
• Experience conducting retail investigations; familiarity with CCTV, EAS systems.

$30.75 – $33.25 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience).
