With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

The Performance team is responsible for making sure the You Tube App is fast, smooth, and reliable. We work on App health metrics like latency, jank, and crashes. We implement regression detection, best practices, and monitoring. We scale teams with tooling. We look for systemic problems that exist and design architectural solutions to solve them. Saving fractions of a second from a single operation can avoid a human lifetime of waiting per day at You Tube’s scale.
