Research Scientist

About The Role

We are seeking a highly effective, motivated scientist to join our team. You will experience all facets of building a startup at a cutting edge biotech company in San Carlos! You will work with an experienced team of founders, scientists and RAs designing, executing, and interpreting experiments. You are a good fit for this role if you resonate with our values, namely if you work hard, are ambitious, creative, and honest, write python scripts to solve your problems, and will do whatever it takes to win.

• Design studies, experiments, and assays pertaining to therapeutic biologics and QC of therapeutic products
• Review literature (research papers, textbooks, financial reports, regulatory documents)
• Evaluate scientific results and present readouts and conclusions
• Assign tasks to RAs
• Design templates and record experimental results in Benchling
• Whatever else is needed for the company to succeed

• PhD in natural science such as biology, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering, etc.
