The Outlets at San Clemente is a premier outlet shopping center that is easily accessible from the i-5 freeway off Avenida Vista Hermosa. The beautiful ocean views provide a gorgeous backdrop to the various events held at the Outlets.

The Outlets at San Clemente is providing an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of the creation, development, and implementation of the overall strategic marking and communication direction of the center as the new Senior Marketing Manager
.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and execute an annual marketing plan according to the budget which strategically utilizes all platform programs, supports the corporate objectives, and positively impacts the center's core financial objectives.
  • Implement retailer strategies that drive sales.
  • Foster relationships with key retail partners.
  • Act as a designated lead on assigned events and provide support for all Center events some of which may occur outside of normal working hours.
  • Forecast and maximize marketing dollars by analyzing sales performance of the center.
  • Coordinate signage and advertising programs to ensure quality and effective use.
  • Manage where applicable all marketing work surrounding center renovations, redevelopment, and expansions to ensure effective messaging to the shopper base.
  • Assist in driving the growth and engagement of our social media channels as well as data collection, SMS, and Email (subscribers) for the specific centers.
  • Coordinate the ongoing development of email database strategy and draft and schedule email blasts accordingly.
  • Maintain all sections of the web site and review regularly for accuracy.
  • Track success of digital marketing efforts and communicate with the team timely.
  • Regularly communicate with tenants to collect offer information, event participation, center promotions, etc.
  • In collaboration with General Manager, seek partnership opportunities with potential sponsors or event participants through research and regular outreach.
  • Coordinate window displays in vacant suites and update as needed.
  • Assist management team with tenant and customer relations and communicate all areas of concern to the General Manager.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of the Center by taking initiative to support all departments which may include tasks not related to this job description.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years related Marketing experience and/or training preferred.
