We are seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to source new opportunities within the Southern California housing market for single-family detached homes and townhome communities. This role reports directly to the Founders and is responsible for land sourcing, underwriting, negotiating acquisitions, due diligence, and assisting with the entitlement process.
Key Responsibilities- Research and identify land acquisition opportunities using GIS, Land Vision, and market data tools
- Maintain acquisition database and prepare status reports
- Perform financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and present recommendations
- Build strong relationships with landowners, municipalities, and consultants
- Monitor land transactions, zoning changes, and entitlement activity
- Prepare financial proformas, competitive market analyses, and investment summaries
- Submit land packages to Investment Committee
- Assist with market strategy and ad hoc projects
- 3+ years in land acquisition, real estate development, financial modeling, and deal sourcing
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
- Knowledge of Southern California land markets
- Strong negotiation skills and financial analysis expertise
- California Real Estate License preferred
