Retail Merchandiser – Commissary – Camp Pendleton – P/T – 18 hrs
Part‑time Base Manager position at Ercat Service Inc. (ESCO), working at the Camp Pendleton Commissary. Ideal for spouses, students, retirees who want to make a tangible impact in the Military Resale Channel.
Base pay range: $17.00 /hr – $19.00 /hr

- Maintain current product distribution and expand new item distribution to meet 30‑day “speed to shelf” objectives.
- Collaborate with the CAO to manage shelf maximums (shelf max) for all SKUs.
- Proactively stock shelves when out‑of‑stocks occur and backstock is available.
- Secure/sell display activity, build displays, and order cases to support events.
- Manage shelf management: facings, resets, sign management, not‑in‑stock, pricing, coupons, shelf tags.
- Process Vendor Credit Memos (VCMs) and Vendor Price Reduction Agreements (VPRAs) in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper store call frequency aligned with key store personnel availability.
- Communicate store issues promptly to AM.
- Check code dates and ensure proper product rotation.
- Balance weekly orders for DSD/DSDS accounts.
- Use EAGLE Eye and Retail IQ tools to report in‑store conditions.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel and management.
- Execute additional assignments or special projects as directed by the Area Manager.
- Assemble, install, relocate racks – some weighing up to 100 lb.
- Build displays weighing up to 40 lb.
- Work in freezer conditions at 0 °F.
- Travel for store resets (1–5 days, including overnight stays).
- Occasional outside case‑lot sales and weekend special events.
- Must have military base access and pass background check.
- Must have a computer, printer, and smartphone and download information from websites.
- Preference for candidates not currently employed by a competitor.
- Weekly work schedule may fluctuate.
Pay Rate: $17‑$19 per hour, 18 hours per week.
