Job Details

Responsibilities

• Utilize your expertise to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and solar projects.
• Participate in the design and layout of solar electric systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, identifying any faults or issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals on large-scale solar installation projects.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of apprentice electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management, providing regular updates on project progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Journeyman Electrician, preferably within the construction industry.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (J-Card).
• Proven experience with commercial and solar projects, including design and installation.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively on large projects.
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and regulations.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
