Forklift Operator

Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Forklift Driver for a client in the food industry.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Required OT and occasional Saturdays). Duration: 154 Days / 22 Weeks. Pay Rate: $19.00/hour - $21.00/hour.

Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr.

• Receiving / Put-Away:
  Unload inbound shipments safely; move products to storage locations; stack and store merchandise appropriately; ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free; report quality variances; pull and prepare products for shipment; ensure accurate quantities and product types are shipped.
• Equipment Operation:
  Operate stand-up forklift (Raymond Reach Lift), rider pallet jack, or other powered equipment; use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and loading; maintain equipment and work area in a neat, clean, and safe condition; follow prescribed work methods for safe and efficient operation.
• Quality Control & Order Picking:
  Perform quality checks and pick orders as required.

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift and rider pallet jack.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (10°F – 40°F).
• Ability to stand/walk for 10–12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
• Experience with Raymond Reach Lift strongly preferred

• Must be prepared to work in and out of the freezer.
• Position is urgent – immediate start preferred.
