Growing family-owned construction firm in San Diego (Mira Mesa area) has an immediate need for a Construction Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, job costing, financial reporting, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, job costing, and construction accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, Build Ops, Viewpoint, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in construction specific ERP systems
- Familiarity with union/non-union payroll and certified payroll reporting a plus.
