Senior Accountant (Temporary - 1-2 months)
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant (temporary for approximately 1-2 months) to help one of our clients during their audit. This role is perfect for someone who’s familiar working with auditors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working on critical projects that ensure financial accuracy and compliance. You’ll play a key part in audit preparation, reconciliations, and reporting, while collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to maintain the integrity of their financial processes.

Responsibilities- Prepare supporting documentation for external auditors, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with year-end close activities.
- Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations; ensure subsidiary ledgers align with the general ledger.
- Compile evidence for internal controls testing and maintain audit support files.
- Extract and validate financial data, prepare audit schedules, and support financial statement disclosures.
- Identify and elevate discrepancies or missing information to management promptly.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including audit support and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with auditors and internal teams.
