Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CPA to manage and oversee our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights. As a Senior CPA, you will be responsible for leading the accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure professional growth and development.
• Manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
