Senior Audit Associate​/Audit Senior

Position: Senior Audit Associate / Audit Senior
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including reviewing work papers and financial statements.
• Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship throughout engagements.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain clear communication to ensure expectations are met.
• Manage both audit and non-audit assignments efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Begin building strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit engagements.
• CPA license, successful completion of the CPA exam, or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Quick Books.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to adjust work schedule as needed to accommodate client and project demands.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, OCBOA, and financial statement presentation standards.
• Familiarity with generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures.
• Experience with not-for-profit and affordable housing audits is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
