Senior Associate - Accounting and Transaction Advisory Services

Our client is a specialized boutique accounting and consulting services firm seeking an accounting professional to support its growth.

• Enhance technical accounting skills by becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in a complex accounting area through on-the-job feedback, performance evaluations, mentoring, and firm-sponsored training including monthly CPE and SME programs.
• Assist with public offerings by performing audit preparation, documenting significant accounting policies, and preparing financial statements and footnotes.
• Support the preparation of S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings related to IPOs, debt offerings, and acquisitions.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues within the US GAAP framework, balancing client preferences.
• Complete internal control processes on 3-4 project teams within budget and with minimal supervision, including creating process narratives and assessing controls.
• Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to clients and team members.
• Produce quality deliverables with minimal review time.
• Improve technical and project management skills through feedback, evaluations, mentoring, and formal training.
• Adapt to unexpected changes in timelines, deadlines, and scope due to the startup environment of clients.
• Respond to client needs, prioritize effectively, and maintain project progress with minimal disruptions.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field.
• CPA or CIA license, or the goal to obtain one soon.
• Strong accounting foundation with hands-on knowledge of internal controls.
• Flexibility to travel within your market.
