Staff Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team. This role is ideal for accounting professionals looking to build their experience and contribute to accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances

+ Support accounts payable and receivable activities as needed

+ Prepare account analyses and financial reports for management review

+ Maintain organized financial records and documentation

+ Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation

+ Participate in process improvements and cross-functional projects as assigned

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

+ 1+ years of accounting experience preferred (internships or relevant coursework considered)

+ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills

+ Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
