About the RoleWe are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team in the United States. Reporting to the Controller, this is a high-impact role at the core of our financial operations. You will own key components of the month-end close process, maintain the integrity of our general ledger, and help build the accounting infrastructure that scales with our business.
What You'll DoGeneral Ledger & Close
- Own assigned components of the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, and accruals
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the integrity of all financial data in the ERP system
- Conduct GL account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Accurately review, code, reconcile, and process vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements
- Partner with our expense management platform (Ramp) to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Support cash flow forecasting inputs related to AP cycles
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit and review processes
- Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of accounting policies and positions
- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of internal controls and accounting procedures
- Partner with FP&A and Revenue Operations to ensure financial transactions are captured accurately and completely
- Assist with systems and process improvement initiatives, including ERP implementations and optimizations
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by the Controller or CFO
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of accounting experience with a strong grasp of accrual accounting
- Hands-on experience supporting or managing a month-end close process
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance fundamentals and US GAAP
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data volumes
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license or active CPA candidacy
