Accounts Payable - Construction

Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an opportunity with an established construction company. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of AP experience and a strong understanding of construction-related invoicing and payables.

Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvals

Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation

Manage vendor setup, payments, and account reconciliations

Review invoices for proper job, cost code, and GL coding

Assist with subcontractor payments, lien releases, and compliance documentation

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Support month-end close and AP reporting

Communicate with vendors, project managers, and internal accounting teams
