The Senior Business Development Partnership Manager develops, solicits, and closes corporate partnership deals, while establishing and nurturing partner relationships that generate revenue for SDZWA. This position oversees a Senior Business Development Representative.

• Pursue new partner relationships, including building proposals, pitching/storytelling, negotiating and executing agreements.
• Oversee Senior Representative, coordinating inbound activation and sponsorship requests, and managing existing partners, including contract fulfillment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on partner opportunities.
• Negotiate and execute renewals as warranted.
• Represent SDZWA at industry or external events.

The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is looking for a driven and strategic-minded Senior Business Development Partnership Manager to grow our partnership initiatives with national and global brands aligned with our mission.

• 3+ years of experience in national and/or global sponsorship sales, promotions or partnerships required.
• Experience in a zoo or theme park preferred.
• Experience in a not-for-profit organization preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field required.
