DESCRIPTION

The Contract & Pricing Analyst plays a critical role within the healthcare supply chain by managing supply agreements and associated pricing data across the organization's ERP contract management system. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all contract and pricing information.

In this role, the analyst administers all supply contracts, validates data from GPO-to-ERP integrations, resolves item master-contract module misalignments, and maintains distributor pricing connections to ensure accurate pricing and contract adherence. The analyst also works directly with suppliers to address pricing discrepancies and ensure timely cost recovery related to pricing variances or contract offsets. They serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to contracted supplies, catalog pricing, and supply chain pricing governance, providing expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders.

The analyst develops tools, reports, and communication resources to share updates, identify issues, and support informed decision-making.

The analyst oversees GPO-affiliated medical supply agreements, including contract enrollments, activations, tier optimization, and compliance management. They are responsible for the daily monitoring of GPO data integration into the Premier ERP contracts module to ensure seamless system performance and uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Additionally, the analyst creates, maintains, and publishes documentation related to pricing management, financial reporting, and contract data maintenance processes. They contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to strengthen data integrity, streamline workflows, and enhance overall contract management effectiveness within the healthcare supply chain environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field plus five years of related experience/training.
  • Thorough knowledge of GPOs, Med-surg distribution, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of price impact analysis, GPO data management, and price alignment.
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop and effective solutions.
  • Detail oriented, with ability to manage time and organize competing priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for effective vendor relationship management and cross-team collaboration.
  • Proven ability to serve as a technical resource providing advice and counsel on pricing related issues.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a large healthcare setting, supply chain operations, and/or healthcare procurement.
  • Experience with Premier ERP, MMIS, GHX, and Sourcing and Contract Management (SCM) Systems.
  • Experience working with large-scale healthcare distributors/ suppliers.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence Software (Tableau, Power

    BI, Alteryx).

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $88,000 - $161,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $42.15 - $77.39

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
