Summary:
Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle. Formulates and executes long‑term roadmaps for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new գործուն technologies and industry‑leading trends. - Conducts cross‑functional conversations about developing a product portfolio that meets customer needs and aligns with product roadmaps.
- Reviews development and definition activities for new and emerging technology product portfolios, determining cost impact and continually reviewing ROI of specific products.
- Establishes long‑term portfolio innovation strategy, product roadmaps, and IP strategies while addressing gaps and maintaining customer interests and product roadmap alignment.
- Communicates through a structured plan with internal customers, third‑party vendors, and senior management to build relationships, ensure alignment, and achieve product goals while managing planned changes.
- Ensures cross‑functional collaboration by guaranteeing Engineering and other internal partners meet customer expectations, promised deadlines, and align with overall roadmap for the product portfolio.
- Translates customer needs, product roadmaps, and organizational strategy into successful product portfolios and facilitates necessary decisions for product delivery with cross‑functional leaders.
