Qualcomm is looking for an experienced Product Management lead in the Compute Business Unit to help strategize and drive Windows API platform offerings and related software platform features and SDKs for the Windows on Snapdragon initiative. The role focuses on providing a developer‑friendly API platform for Snapdragon Compute, integrating core IP technologies such as Camera, Audio, Video, Sensors, and AI with the Windows ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough market and technical competitive analysis to identify current Qualcomm API offerings and gaps, interacting with Microsoft, OEMs, developers, partners, and industry experts.
- Analyze Qualcomm’s software stack and APIs for various IP blocks (Camera, A/V, NPU, LPI, GPU, GPS, etc.) and understand how other platforms expose similar technologies.
- Define a comprehensive product roadmap and plan, articulating the APIs Qualcomm should deliver and the timeline, and align across IP, software, and product teams.
- Lead cross‑functional execution of the roadmap, coordinating with product management, engineering, program, marketing, and other stakeholders, ensuring milestones are met.
- Develop and execute a GTM strategy for the APIs, including SDK and driver updates, in partnership with internal teams, Microsoft, OEMs, and developers.
- Influence external developer and partner integration decisions by advocating for Windows on Snapdragon APIs and Qualcomm technologies.
- Drive product launch strategies for new APIs and technologies through technical marketing opportunities such as conferences and direct customer contact.
- Prepare and deliver complex technical presentations to internal and external audiences, integrating customer feedback into project roadmaps.
- Work independently with no supervision and make significant decisions impacting program success.
- Lead formulation of strategy and prioritization of hub projects, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and objective attainment.
- Use verbal and written communication to convey complex information to audiences with varying knowledge levels.
- Exercise substantial influence over key technical and roadmap decisions.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent tasks, solving problems with advanced data analysis and deductive reasoning.
- Share innovative solutions to achieve broad policies and objectives.
- 15+ years of product management experience in APIs, SDKs, and developer products.
- Hands‑on experience developing Windows APIs and core IP technologies such as Camera, Audio, Video, and AI.
- In‑depth knowledge of the x86/Windows ecosystem, AI/Gen‑AI technologies, developer tools, workflows, and frameworks.
- Experience with embedded technologies – CPU/GPU/codecs or related software.
- Proven ability to manage, influence, and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field.
- 8+ years of Product Management or related experience.
